Abstract: In this session, you find out how Greatland Corporation reduced the risk of credit card acceptance in their call center. Strategies for risk reduction inherently vary based on the payment channel. What works for e-commerce outside your organization does not provide the same protection when card acceptance is done inside your company’s four walls. In addition to policies on how employees handle credit card data, encrypting the payment card at entry can be key to keeping credit cards off your network and away from prying eyes. The results can include reduced compliance costs and scope. Greatland will discuss how this benefited their business and the lessons learned along the way.
